The week in review

Here she is, sporting a Deb.
(If you've seen Napoleon Dynamite, ya know what I'm talkin' about.)

Yahoo!

Waitin' for the right wave.

Actually, I am too tired to give very much of a review, but it has been six days since I last posted on this site. Here are the bullet points:

  • Marley had her first boogie boarding experience. She did such a great job especially after taking a few pointers from a friend and Colin. She's on her way to being our little California surfer girl.
  • Colin was such a big help to me on when we went to the beach. I had a two of my friend's kids, ages 6 and 8, along with Marley and it was just a breeze thanks to Colin.
  • Paul had a big week. We set up a website for him so that he can start letting people listen to clips of his songs and when he'll be playing, etc. He also participated in filming of a television show that will be aired on cable access tv in October. It is called Open Mic TV and it will feature unsigned singer/songwriters from our area. He did an excellent job performing his song Night Train. If you are interested in his website, email me at aseveremary@pacbell.net. I'll forward the site address to you.
  • I can't even remember much of what I did last week, although today I had the ever-so-lovely experience of visiting a GI doctor. It is another follow up from my annual physical, not related to the sleep apnea. I am such a lucky woman because I get to have an endoscopy and a colonoscopy on the same day! Woohoo! Lucky, lucky girl.
This week is turning out to be somewhat busy. Marley has gymnastics camp all week. I'm volunteering at camp every morning. Colin has his last week of summer school and Paul is out of town touring the Great White North before heading down to New Jersey.

I guess that is it for now. If anything fun or interesting happens, I'll let you know.

In the words of that lovable cartoon character, Tigger, "TTFN!"

Hang in there with the endoscopy and colonoscopy....and have a stiff drink before and after your appointment! Good luck, positive thoughts are being sent your way!

I LOVE the pictures of surfer girl! One of the things I enjoyed on my morning walks down the beach at Pismo was watching the kids at surf camp. It was great seeing how many girls came out for the sport.
