I thought you might be interested in hearing a little about something that is a big part of our lives. We have been a part of this Life!Group for almost 8 years. A Life!Group is what we call a small group at our church. As part of this particular group, we have tried to incorporate the children into much of what we do. Sometimes we have been successful, other times, not so much. The following are pictures from one of our more successful attempts. Our group meets on Friday nights so for Good Friday, we decided to set up stations that were about different symbols of Christianity: the cross, water, candles. At each station there was a description of the symbol, an activity and Scripture to read. I enjoyed watching the kids go through each station with their parent or another adult from our group. It is definitely something I'd like to do again next year.

Paul, Marley and Caelum talk about baptism at the water station.

Dylan reads the Easter story to Imee and Katie.

Sharon and Lulu are reminded that Jesus is the Light of the world.

I'm taking communion while Paul helps Marley and Caelum light candles.
I hope you liked the pictures. Every other Friday night, we hang out with this group of people. They are a major part of our lives. Maybe you can join us sometime!
