Well just over 24 hours until Papa Bogan comes home. Colin stayed home from school again today. He was still feeling a little weak and slightly feverish. He's been doing a little homework and playing PS2 Kingdom Hearts 2.
Around 5 pm, Marley was needing to get out. She couldn't play with Haley because Haley's sister has the chicken pox. Some of this energy was being put into inappropriate behavior. We decided to call grandma and grandpa and they agreed to come get her for a couple of hours. While she was waiting outside, she slipped and scraped her hands. Crying, she wanted to go wash them in cold water and then put band-aids on.
"Let's go into the front bathroom," I said.
"Nooooooooooooooooo! Don't go into that bathroom!" she screams.
This statement of course, guarantees my next stop. Lo and behold, there is a towel stuffed into the sink, hanging over the front of the cabinet. I remove the towel to find it covered in red jello and there is more in the sink. I'm not sure why this happened, but let me tell you, this is the norm around here. I can't turn my back for a second. Or even sleep, apparently. On day two of this current trip, Marley woke me up around 6:45 am to ask if she could watch TV. Okay, no problem, she turns on the television in my room and settles in. I get up to use the restroom and as I walk out toward the living room, the sliding glass door that leads into the backyard is open. I close it and walk back into my room. At this point, I realize she has her shoes on.
"Did you go outside this morning, Marley?" She nods, yes. "Why?"
"To play with the blue ice." Duh, mom. This is part of the dye water experiments that have been going on around here.
"Okay, Marley. Please don't go outside without letting mommy and daddy now. It's dangerous." She nods again, okay.
Other than that, things are going well today. I found Library Thing today. Fun, fun, fun. It is an online catalog of your books. You can also put a widget on your blog and it shows a random selection from your library every time someone looks at your site. You may notice it on my sidebar. I really love this idea. Colin says it will take me forever to put all my books in. I am limited to 200 before having to pay for the service. I wonder if I have 200 books?
Well, that is it for now. Ciao.

I was just putting a load into the dryer and my dark clothes have what looks like lint all over them. Hmmm... At first, I thought maybe it was laundry detergent that didn't dissolve. No, it is papery feeling. As I take the other clothes out, I come across something brownish with a white center. As I use my best CSI (crime scene investigation) skills, I believe I have identified the culprit: a toilet paper roll stuffed with toilet paper. I can't imagine how that got in with the laundry. Can you?

Hey, that sounds like my house!
I love LibraryThing so much. I'm just adding books as I read them.
When I was about 3 I totally panicked my parents one Saturday morning when, before they woke up I went next door to play with the neighbor's dog. Our neighbor, Miss Pat, found me and figured my parents were still asleep so we just had a grand old time until they came looking for me!
