1. Marley at about 18 months old. This is her "school" picture from Mother's Day Out. She has changed so much that I don't know if I would know this was her if I didn't know it was her. I believe this was shortly after her first haircut. Isn't she adorable? Does she look especially mischievous in this picture? I see the sparkle in her eye but no hint of the extraordinary capacity for terrorizing her brother, pouring out unsuspecting liquids from one container to another, writing on walls and cutting her own hair that would soon be evidenced.
2. This following picture could be one in a series of about 50 pictures titled: Colin fell asleep... In this case, Colin fell asleep while playing in his room. I think he is about 2 1/2 to 3 years old in this picture. This was a common occurrence for a couple of years when he didn't want to nap but couldn't quite make it to bedtime. I think he is holding a Batman tray. I have so many pictures of Colin asleep in the laundry basket, asleep on the couch. Marley has very rarely fallen asleep anywhere. I have a few shots of her asleep in her bed--at bedtime; her ability to "not" sleep has been truly astounding.

I love it when kids fall asleep playing. They just can't fight the inevitable sleepiness anymore!
