Grrrrr.... Arghhh!

That post title is me being crabby. It is 5:21 am. I have been awake for the better part of two hours. Grrrrr... arghhh!!

I'm not sure why the sleepless morning. There isn't a particular amount of stress in my life right now which is the usual culprit. It may have to do with an increase in caffeine intake. To get myself up and going in the morning I switched to regular coffee. Or, it could be associated with the increase in irritability I experienced yesterday along with some light sensitivity which usually means.... drumroll please: a migraine! Grrrrr... arghhh!!

So, because I am feeling like this, I am having a hard time looking to the week ahead. My main walking partner is out of commission most of the next two weeks. There is another mom I've been walking with and I hope, for the sake of my diet and exercise plan, that she will be available. I'm still not in to the routine enough to be counted on to walk alone. Grrrrr... arghhh!!

Paul will be leaving in less than two hours to go to New Jersey for a week. He and I were both fairly busy this past week so I don't feel like we connected very well and I'm not looking forward to a potentially migraine-y week without him. Especially since Colin has finals this week, Marley is supposed to be selling Girl Scout cookies and has basketball practice and Paul's parents, who usually help me with getting kids to school, etc. are out of town. Grrrrr... arghhh!!

Oh well... If I take a moment to look on the bright side:

  • I can take a nap while the kids are at school
  • I have medicine to take if the migraine comes
  • If I can't be perfect about diet and exercise this week, at least I've been doing very well the past two weeks and I can get back on track the next week.
  • Paul will only be gone five days, Colin will help me out if he sees I really need it and if Marley doesn't sell a billion cookies, who will it hurt?
The gripe session is over... for now.

Hang in there! Hopefully the headaches won't be an issue and you will soar through the week, walking included!
