The Butterfly Effect

The local Tower Records and Books is going out of business. Actually, they may all being going out of business. I'm not sure. Anyway, I stopped in last night and purchased a few books. In the clearance bin I found this journal:

butterfly journal

Marley loves butterflies and drawing so I bought it for her.

Today, she showed me this picture from the journal:

Family Portrait

Isn't it a lovely family portrait? You see the shining, smiley sun looking down at us. Colin is easily identifited by the skateboard he is riding. Marley, of course, is the one with the blonde hair. That leaves me and Paul as the remaining members of the family. I'm sure you can tell who's who. Also, those two little figures to the left? The guinea pigs of course. They are part of the family, you know.

But what is that she has her Daddy doing? His hand lifted to his mouth. I asked her and she proudly told me, "He's smoking."

Cue whatever funny music you want to here 'cuz Daddy doesn't smoke.
