Well, Paul has been gone a little over 24 hours now. . . So far, things are going well except that I haven't had a shower and it is 10 pm. It has been a busy day, productive but not stressful. I should sleep well tonight.
The picture above is two friends I watch on Thursday afternoons. They always want to play with the guinea pigs but haven't had too much opportunity. So tonight, while Marley was in the bath tub, the piggies came out to play. Play for the piggies consists of them freaking out when I pick them up and then obsessing over their little snacks. "Gimme, gimme, gimme" and then "Go away, leave me alone, I want to be left alone."
Colin heads out to the Happiest Place on Earth tomorrow--all part of the 8th grade festivities that are planned over the next few weeks. He is thrilled and I'll be teenager-less until evening. Hmmm. . . what will Marley and I do with our time? Any suggestions? It has to be cheap. Our bank account is running on fumes until the next pay day.
So, I'll head to the shower now, go to bed and prepare for the 'morrow which will be Day 3 of InfoComm 2006 - Those Left Behind
